Chad aside, all of the Spanish references in Bleach are associated with villains/evil. Why? It'due south a elementary answer:
Japan, being a very xenophobic society can hands encounter evil if it is associated with culture very much different from their own. They look at the Hollows and see: "These people aren't like us at all, they are a threat".
That and it sounds cool.

Nippon, being a very xenophobic gild tin can easily see evil if it is associated with culture very much different from their own. They wait at the Hollows and run into: "These people aren't like us at all, they are a threat".
That and it sounds cool.

I don't mind hearing a lot of Spanish in Bleach.
Perhaps Kubo Tite is into Spanish, or I guess it's his way of making the series a little dissimilar from the usual. At least nosotros hear not only Japanese terms, we get to hear Spanish equally well.

No me preguntes hombre, no lo south?.
Muy gracioso.
Don't forget Hueco Mundo.
Actually, the Spanish surprised me at outset. I'thou used to seeing German as being the foreign language of selection in anime and manga. What suprises me is the English title and then the large amounts of Spanish.
I recall the Japanese only like European languages.

Well, firts of all, Republic of chad'southward grampa is mexican, non castilian ^^ "Menos Grande", "Hueco Mundo" or "Espada" are castilian word, but I think arrancar is not a spanish word, because in spanish "arrancar" ways "start" or "extract" so IMO it has no sense

I plant the spanish really weird at outset, merely now i like it very much. Gives the hollows a nice accent.
I suppose spanish is piece of cake for japanese to pronounce ? They seem to accept trouble with english. Plus english isn't that cool to use, spanish rocks !
Wonder why he uses the english language word 'hollow' for hollows ( duh ) and not the spanish give-and-take.

English language isn't cool if y'all speak English. I don't see why Castilian would exist easier for the Japanese... if annihilation, that RR is fifty-fifty harder than the English language ane. Though there aren't quite so many consonant clusters equally in English, I call up.
Hmm. That concluding i is a good question. Technically, it's the Japanese word, which I'1000 too lazy to look up. Perhaps things that are more widespread and that they have more contact with are not viewed in quite the same low-cal? They fight Hollows constantly, just non Menoses or Arrancar. Nor do they go into Hueco Mundo randomly... It's a possibility, I suppose.

Spanish is sort of a romantic linguistic communication, as well, a flake like French (although French is probably too hard to write in katakana ).
